- An Introduction to the Old Testament
Study the whole Old Testament, from Genesis to Malachi, with a standard evangelical introduction, and learn to read, preach and teach it with understanding.
The course follows Longman and Dillard's An Introduction to the Old Testament. Book by book, you look at each book's historical setting, its literary character and its theological message, and you follow its themes into the New Testament. You also learn how scholars debate questions of date and authorship, and how to weigh those debates fairly.
