PS-300 Theological Statement

Write your own theological statement across Year 3: what you believe and why, where you stand in your tradition, and how you will lead and preach.

This may be the most personal thing you write at WWES. You build it step by step through the year, using what you learn in your other Year 3 courses, and a tutor gives you feedback on each part. During the year a mentor or church leader also confirms that you preached and led during the year.

What you will do

• What I believe and why: your theology as one whole
• My tradition's DNA: the core values of your own tradition, and where you stand with it
• The church I want to serve: your vision for a fellowship in your own setting
• How I will lead and preach from this
• Preach and lead during the year, confirmed by a mentor or church leader
