- Expository Preaching
Let the text, not the preacher, decide what the sermon says. Learn a clear eight-step method for preaching that explains a Bible passage, and plan a series through a book of the Bible.
Following Expository Preaching, this course teaches one method of expository preaching in eight steps. You discover a passage's subject, narrow it to a theme and write a proposition of the type the text requires. Then you develop, illustrate and complete the sermon. You also plan a series through a book of the Bible, so that a church learns to read its Bible and meets the hard texts as well as the familiar ones.
