- OT Prophets
The prophets are among the most quoted and least understood books of the Bible. Learn to hear them in their own time and to see how they are fulfilled in Christ.
Following OT Prophets, this course reads the prophets as God's covenant enforcers: each one applies the covenant of Sinai to a crisis of his own day, before the exile, during it or after the return. It then shows how the New Testament "fills up" their words: the Messiah, the new covenant, the Day of the LORD and the new creation. You also learn to test a promise lifted out of its place, and a "word from the Lord" today.
