- Growing in Wisdom: A Christian Guide to Educational Psychology
Every Sunday-school teacher, youth leader and pastor is a teacher. Learn how people learn and grow, and how to teach them well, even with eighty pupils and one chalkboard.
With the WWES companion Growing in Wisdom beside an open textbook, this course teaches the main ideas of educational psychology. It begins with the call to teach and how learning happens, looks at how learners differ, what moves them and how to keep order with love, and ends with planning lessons and judging learning fairly. You learn to teach and protect children and young people in your own setting. Some chapters touch child abuse and disability; when a situation needs more, turn to your church or a professional where you live.
