- The Welfare of the City: A Christian Guide to Political Science
Every community must decide who gets what and who decides. Learn how people govern themselves, so you can give wise counsel in elections, corruption and conflict.
With the WWES companion The Welfare of the City beside the OpenStax textbook, this course teaches the main concepts, theories and methods of political science. It moves from power, justice and political ideas, through citizens, rights and the work of government, to courts, the media and the dealings of nations. You read it with three Christian lenses: what is true by God's gift to all, where sin bends things, and how Christians help to set them right. The course never asks which party or candidate you support.
