The New Testament Jesus

The whole Christian faith stands or falls with Jesus. Read the four Gospels as four witnesses to one Lord: his kingdom, his words and works, his cross and his rising.

Following The New Testament Jesus, this course begins with why the church kept four Gospels and what each portrait adds. It moves from Jesus' birth, baptism and teaching on the kingdom, through his signs, parables and disputes, to the cross and the empty tomb. It ends with John's witness, the return of Christ, and how to tell what is of "first importance" from matters on which Christians may differ.
