The Pentateuch

The five books of Moses are the foundation of the whole Bible. Read them as one story of covenant and grace, and see how Jesus and Paul read them.

Following The Pentateuch, this course takes you from creation and the call of Abraham, through the rescue from Egypt and the covenant at Sinai, to the wilderness and Moses' last words in Deuteronomy. You learn how a holy God lives among sinful people, and how to weigh a use of a law of Moses today. The course ends with the New Testament: how Jesus and Paul read these books, and how they point to Christ.
