ST-101 Catechism

Learn the heart of the Christian faith by question and answer: the gospel of grace, the Bible, the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer and the Apostles' Creed.

For centuries churches have taught new believers with a catechism. This course takes you through A Free Evangelical Catechism in three parts. It starts with the gospel: we are made right with God by what Christ has done, received by faith. Then it shows what the faith means for the cross, the Holy Spirit, the church and daily life.

What you will study

• The gospel: justified by faith alone
• The Bible: how God speaks through his Word
• The Ten Commandments: the shape of a life set free
• The Lord's Prayer: a pattern for prayer
• The Apostles' Creed: the faith the whole church confesses
• The Holy Spirit and the Christian life
• The church, baptism and the Lord's Supper
• Freedom from sin's power, daily living and mission
