- Three Views on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament; A New Testament Biblical Theology
Learn how the New Testament reads the Old: compare three evangelical answers to a hard question, and follow the story of Scripture from Eden to the new creation.
The course first studies Three Views on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament, where Walter Kaiser, Darrell Bock and Peter Enns explain how an Old Testament text's meaning relates to its use in the New. It then follows G. K. Beale as he traces the storyline of the Old Testament into the New: Adam's commission, Israel's hope for the latter days, and Christ's resurrection as the beginning of the new creation.
