Study the kingdom of God that Jesus proclaimed, already at work and still to come, and weigh what it means for evangelism and prayer for the sick today.

With George Eldon Ladd you study the kingdom as God's reign, already present in Jesus yet still to come in fullness. Then you read John Wimber and Kevin Springer, who built on Ladd's work a ministry of "power evangelism" and prayer for the sick. Evangelicals disagree about whether miraculous gifts continue today; you weigh each author's teaching with Scripture and reasons. The books discuss illness and deliverance; the course says when to turn to your church or a medical professional.
